About Her

18 Lovely Thoughts

Last update 8 November 2016

Skinny dreams...still have a long way to come true. Haha

Hello, there. Call me Honeybee, because I am as sweet as honey. So sweet that this tiny body couldn't store all this sweetness. 😜😝

"Oh, My Waist!" is formerly known as "Her Weight Loss Diary" where I pen my weight loss journey and try to gain some accountability. People often mistaken me for pregnant when I was not. Oh yeah, thanks for asking. *awkward* This is my body part that I concerned the most - my thick waist and my flabby belly. I thought if I lose weight from my waist, I may look a bit slim...and yeah less awkward. But that is not the solely reason. You know, study reveals that a large waist is a dangerous health condition. A thicker waistline means you are more likely to have fat around your heart, liver and even ordinary muscles, and it increase risk of heart attack. Oh, My Waist! 🙊😥

Losing weight and after that maintaining an ideal weight for health is not a destination. It's a journey. I hope my thoughts jotted down in this blog empower you take ownership of your health. I always love to hear from you. Let's say hello to each other.

I've been very slow at blogging this year 2017. Just as how slow my blogging activity is, so is my weight loss progress. I messed up and sometimes lost in my weight loss journey. But my motto is Don't give up. I tell myselfIf I keep going, I won't regret. But if I give up, I will. A few "bad days" can't ruin a whole weight loss plan. Only giving up can do that. Just keep going and I'll get there. Sooner or later. I am not here to impress anyone. I am in my own competition to be the better version of myself.

I know what it feels like to be fat. It's suck! Some days, I feel very motivated. Other days, I feel nothing at all. This is where I will remind myself: Remember why you started. If you're feeling like "the other day" right now, here's to refresh you your weight loss goals.
